Scarology® Ultimate Scar Care System is a simple day and night routine designed to improve the overall color, texture and appearance of scars to achieve what can be dramatic results. The fruit acid exfoliator is a key step because exfoliation allows the removal of the unhealthy skin cells overlying the scar, stimulates the healthy surrounding tissue to replicate and replaces the top layer of skin.
For the best results, we recommend applying the Ultimate Scar Cream twice a day. Taking a few minutes in the evening to reapply the Ultimate Scar Cream will support the renewal of your skin throughout the night. Complete this step prior to the application of the Silicone Scar Sheets at bedtime.
The Silicone Scar Sheets can provide the compression and nourishment needed for your scar to heal throughout the night. Take a quick minute to apply the self-adhesive sheet to your dry scar prior to going to bed. The scar sheets are flexible and designed for maximum comfort.

Scarology is made from scientifically proven ingredients that will nourish the scar, boost the immune system, and reduce inflamation. Start with the brand that works.
Scarology was created by husband and wife team, Dr. Michael Connor and Dr. Jeanmarie Connor, because the commercially available scar treatment products they were recommending to their patients did not convincingly show any improvement in the appearance of scars. Scarology’s complete scar treatment system is different than any scar treatment products available on the market today, many of which have been shown in scientific studies to have little to no benefit. Scarology is an innovation in scar treatment combining exfoliation, a scar cream and silicone sheets all within a simple day and night routine. It is as easy as 1-2-3.
No other scar treatment has incorporated a gentle exfoliation step to aid in the prevention of new scars and in the removal of old scars. Exfoliation procedures such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing have been shown to be effective in improving the appearance of a scar but can cost thousands of dollars with the possibility of significant down time. Scarology’s Natural Fruit Acid Skin Exfoliator works on the scar over time and is easily incorporated into your daily routine.
Scarology’s proprietary scar cream was formulated after extensive research of the medical literature. The goal was to create a scar cream with natural ingredients and to avoid using ingredients, such as onion extract, that have been scientifically shown to have little or no benefit. Some of the ingredients, until now, have only been available in medical settings and are not currently in any other over-the-counter scar creams.
The nourishing and compressive effects of silicone sheets on scars have been well documented in numerous clinical studies. Scarology’s self adhesive silicone sheet uses advanced patented silicone technology currently used in hospital settings.
Three products. One Solution. Live Unscarred.
Scars from several years ago are the most difficult to treat and most likely will not change in appearance with topical silicone or onion extract alone. However, Scarology’s 3-part system is different. The Fruit Acid Exfoliator will slowly stimulate the surface layer of the scar to remodel. As new surface layer skin cells are being laid down, the Ultimate Scar Cream can nourish and soften the deep layers of the scar. No other scar treatment on the market will offer both gentle exfoliation and provide nourishment to your scar. Scarology is the only commercially available product for scars that can reduce the visibility of old scars.
The skin is very effective at healing itself. Following an injury, the skin immediately undergoes changes at the surface level to close the wound and inflammatory cells enter the deep tissue beneath the wound. Once the wound is closed and scabbing has subsided, the entire 3-step system can be used. Ask your doctor when it is safe to start treating your scar.
A new scar will remodel over the course of a year and can change in appearance throughout one’s life. It is recommended that Scarology be used as long as the scar continues to show signs of improvement and for 3 months thereafter. We recommend using the system for at least one year for best results.
Yes. Scarology can be used on all skin types and in people of all ages, including children. That being said, Scarology does not recommend the use of the Fruit Acid Exfoliator in children under 2 years of age.
No. There are several types of scars. Any cut or break in the skin can leave a scar. Scarring may be better or worse than anticipated as healing is highly individualized. Both traumatic and surgical scars can result in a flat, pale scar or a hypertrophic (dark, thick or raised) scar.
Some skin types can keloid which happens when the scar grows over the boundaries of the cut or wound due to extensive scar tissue. A wound with persistent inflammation in the deep layers, such as acne or a chicken pox wound, can result in a sunken-in or pitted appearance. Wounds that exist around a joint or heal with a lot of tension on either side can become widened over time due to several months of stretching.
Stretch marks are a common form of scar that can result from pregnancy or fluctuations in weight. In both instances, the skin is stretched faster than the natural remodeling of the skin.
Yes. The Scarology scar treatment system can be effective at improving the appearance of any type of scar, old or new, including pale or thin scars, hypertrophic scars, keloids, burns, stretch marks and acne scars. Gentle exfoliation, scar therapy and compressive silicone therapy have been individually recommended for treating scars by doctors and physical therapists around the world for several years. Scarology has created the only scar treatment system that combines all three steps and it is now available to you in one easy-to-use 3-step scar treatment kit.
